Meow! Oh, those “gifts” I bring you might seem a little puzzling to you humans, but to me, they’re a true sign of affection! You see, in the wild, cats are natural hunters. Even though I live with you now, those instincts are still a part of me.
When I bring you a “gift,” like a dead insect or a small animal, I’m showing you that I care about you and want to share my hunting success with you. It’s my way of saying, “Hey, look what I caught for you! I appreciate you, and I want to provide for you just like I would for my own family.”
In a sense, I consider you a part of my cat family, and presenting you with these “gifts” is a way for me to show my gratitude and bond with you. I may not understand that you might not find these “gifts” as appealing as I do, but it’s my genuine attempt to express my love and loyalty to you.
